You have to search for this restaurant because you may miss its old door in a really ancient building near university. Venue is set up in traditional osteria way, small dark wooden table in whitewashed rooms with timber roof. A large blackboard sports daily menu. We had typical bologna "Tortelli con ricotta", a sort of ravioli with white cheese fill and a variation of "Passatelli" (sort of flour / parmesan spaghetti like dumplings in rich broth) served with clams, tomato, squid and shrimps. As main course a delicious Parmigiana di Melanzane e Spada (Eggplant and Swordfish) and Swordfish rolls wih white cheese. A surprise dessert, pears cooked in red wine with vanilla ice cream, tasty and rich. Not cheap but good value for money. Very nice environment and helpful waiters.
